International Admission

The international students at ÖйúÈËÉ«ÇéÊÓƵ are an integral addition to the campus. They bring an expansive array of thoughts, ideals and experiences that makes ÖйúÈËÉ«ÇéÊÓƵ rich in diversity.

Small class sizes, a wide selection of academic offerings taught by world-class faculty, a friendly campus atmosphere, as well as the proximity to exciting cities such as New York City, Boston and Washington, D.C., are only a few reasons why ÖйúÈËÉ«ÇéÊÓƵ is such a great place for our international students to live and study.


There are several clubs and organizations which span from volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to playing an intramural sport, or acting in a play to writing for the literary magazine. ÖйúÈËÉ«ÇéÊÓƵ provides international students several avenues to become integrated in campus life while sharing their rich cultural backgrounds with the community.

All students who are not citizens of the United States or permanent residents (possess a PRA number) are considered to be international students.


Orientation for New Students

Each semester, the College’s Office of Inclusive Excellence & Global Education holds an orientation specifically for new international students. The office also arranges events such as movie nights, outdoor activities, and trips.

The Office of Inclusive Excellence & Global Education provides an advisement service to its international students which includes assistance with immigration guidelines and academic guidance. All undergraduate and graduate students who are studying at ÖйúÈËÉ«ÇéÊÓƵ under the direction of an F-1 student visa receive assistance on issues such as maintaining status, employment, practical training, etc. They are also required to attend a mandatory international orientation session upon their entrance to the College. This session provides students with valuable information regarding immigration regulations.

The Office of Inclusive Excellence & Global Education at ÖйúÈËÉ«ÇéÊÓƵ assists the international student community by advising on federal immigration, tax, and labor regulations. Among other services, we provide support for students with personal, academic and cultural matters. Our goal is to facilitate international exchange and foster intercultural community in the context of a liberal arts community in Central New York.
